Each month, we release to the community a new song and downloadable video, for free, to tie in with that month's focus chapter. But what happens to them after the month is over? They go to YouTube!

Put the PrayerWall on your own site!

As we continue to make improvements to the PrayerGates service, one of the first things we wanted to release to the community was a way to put the Prayer Wall posts into your own personal site/blog. Now, by just copying an pasting a small bit of code, you can have the latest prayers posted right on your own site.

We have two flavors of code for you to try!

Whichever you prefer to use, you should just be able to copy and paste into your blog.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, some hosted blogging services, like Wordpress.com, do not allow you to use Javascript or iFrames in your site. We will be looking for even more ways to help you get the latest Prayer Wall posts on your site.

Getting Started!

Welcome to PrayerGates! We are so excited to launch this new resource that we pray will be a means by which women will join together in prayer and fellowship around the name of Christ. If you haven’t already, definitely check out About PrayerGates to understand the significance of the name we’ve chosen and how it represents our hopes for this place. We also want to make you aware of what you can expect on PrayerGates and how you can use it in your own life.

For the first several months we will be featuring excerpts from Praying God’s Word by Beth Moore. Praying God’s Word is a resource specifically written to be a tool to help break down spiritual strongholds in our lives. It’s inspirational, but it’s also super practical. We’re hoping that the excerpts we offer will give you a jump start in your prayer life, or encourage you to get the full resource so you can dig into Praying God’s Word more deeply. In addition to the excerpts, we’ll also have a guest journal from a featured woman in ministry. Many of these women will be authors or Bible study teachers and some of them will be women serving in women’s ministry in local churches. These journal reflections will help you to see a broad perspective on how we can pray through God’s Word to be released from strongholds in our lives. It’s a special blessing to be able to hear from so many different women, coming from so many different perspectives, life stages, and giftings. We’ll always feature a couple upcoming live events where you can gather live with other women-perhaps women you meet on PrayerGates and make sure that we all stay connected in everyday life as well as online! We also have specially commissioned worship music and videos available for individuals or churches—and it’s all available for free download and use.

In addition to the resources we’re providing, you can really adapt PrayerGates to your own needs, ministry, or your church’s ministry. After creating a free profile, you can join one of the existing PrayerCircles where you can interact with other women on common topics or studies. You can also create your own prayer circles- prayer groups that can be public for anyone to see and interact, or private groups for your church or friends. Our prayer in building PrayerGates is that if we built the space for women to come, customize, and interact, that lives would be transformed. This space is for you to use, so please do! Invite your friends, invite the ladies in your Bible study, invite your coworkers. Lift one another in prayer and praise, trusting along with us that the Lord will be glorified and we will be more closely conformed to the image of Christ!

So, create a profile, begin posting your prayer requests, pray for others', create prayer circles, read the excerpts, download the worship videos...spread the word! We'll have new resources and additions posting regularly!

May He be glorified and may we be transformed!

Worship Resources for Praying God's Word, Chapter 1: "Overcoming Idolatry"

At the beginning of each month, we will shift the focus of our journey together on PrayerGates.com to another chapter of Beth Moore's Praying God's Word. As we learn what it means to pray scripture together, the staff here at PrayerGates have partnered with LifeWay Worship in order to bring you new, free worship resources every month to go with the theme.

This month's song is "Break Through" - you can download the MP3 and a worship video for it free from the Resources tab. This song will be available for free only in the month of October, so give it a listen!
